Default Florida boater education card

Just realized something. My son took and passed the safe boater Ed exam he had to take in Islamorada last year. It was to rent waverunners. We're heading to ST Pete next week and I must have lost the paper he had, which was a pos.
Is there a way to get a card or replacement???

Thanks for any direction

Bill

I think I recall them saying when he got the paper cert out of staters had to go on line and request a card; we didn't

You got your son his card or your son got his card?

You got your son his card or your son got his card?

He did all the work and tests online I just showed him the site and helped him get enrolled.

The test you take at the jet ski places is not the same as the one required to get your Boater's Ed Card from the state. At least I don't think it is.

Edit: Your son most likely got the temporary boater's certificate which is only good for one year. That's the one you get by correctly answering 19 of 25 questions on the test the jet ski places give you.

Out of staters do get a card.

I had to get one before I could rent a boat at one of the Air Force bases when we visited last year.

Got the actual laminated card in the mail a week or so after I got back to AZ.
