Default Any Deadwood fans?

Just happened to find this tidbit from

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Milch

"On April 20, 2017, Ian McShane announced that Milch has submitted a script for a two-hour Deadwood movie to HBO. “(A) two-hour movie script has been delivered to HBO. If they don’t deliver (a finished product), blame them". McShane said that he has spoken to Milch about some of the script and hopes to meet for lunch soon to discuss the film. He also said of the original cast returning that “we’d all love to do it ... It would be nice to see all of the old gang again.”"

Watched it through Netflix with DVD delivery prior to streaming. Great series and the one that got the wife and I started on binge watching seasons of shows.

Would love to see some more.

The dialog on that show was strange. Every conversation was a stream of very articulate words and big vocabulary with every second word being c**k sucker or f**ker. I wonder if that's how they spoke back then

In a whorehouse, in the middle of nowhere South Dakota? Probably. Historically Deadwood was a pretty rough place.

No. The creator of the show used more contemporary language, rather than exclamations like "gol-darn" and "Jee-hos-e-phat" used back then because he didn't want the characters to sound comical like Yosemite Sam.

Dadblammit, I had hoped they really talked like they do in the show.
