Default April Fool's Day Pranks

Our sons have announced they plan to prank my wife and I at least twice each tomorrow.

So, we are seeking ideas on how to prank them back. Pranks should be funny, but harmless. Oldest boy is 10yo and the twins are 6yo.

Whatta ya got for ideas?

Tell them you're going to Disney, then take them to a soup kitchen to volunteer.

Well, that would kinda backfire, cuz we are taking them to Disney tomorrow, LOL! Disney on Ice, actually.

Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Make a fake letter from school saying they messed up something big and then tell them you're canceling the trip because of that.

Tell them Mrs. Rapi is pregnant with quadruplets and they are going to have to start getting their rooms organized because they are going to have to share their rooms with the new babies.

Tell them they are adopted, drive to a really rich neighborhood, park in front of the nicest house and tell them this is where their birth parents live.
Then tell them that they are never allowed to ever speak of it again.

I would, but... I homeschool them, lol. The Disney on Ice is a present to the 10yo for an academic accomplishment.

Keep going! You guys are getting close.

Do they embarrassed easy? Could say something like they are going to be on ice as special guests to do a performance and you arranged it because of his extra hard work.

No, never embarrassed. If I told any of them that, they would start practicing their dance moves for when the camera hits them.

I have no idea where they get that from. Must be my wife, cuz it darn sure ain't me.

put the brush part of their toothbrushes in an ice cube tray (or small bag, cup, etc) with water overnight and replace it in the morning.
I do it every year. =)

take the batteries out of all the tv remotes

could you switch them in beds at night, while they're asleep?

put tissue in the toes of their shoes. so they can't quite get them on all the way.

That one was played on me. I had a girlfriend last year that called me on April fools and told me I was going to be a new father! I nearly vomited my heart out onto the dashboard! I have four kids already! She didn't realize how unfunny I thought it was. She is now X girlfriend.

Hay you could start by buying some pink wall paint at lowes and then putting it on the kitchen table. Tell them they are going to need to paint their rooms for the new babies.
