Default Don't like the new vendor forum

Why? Because I, like probably most of the people here, really only read this particular forum. That means that I won't learn about problems with particular boats, boating items, etc. Likewise, I wouldn't learn about the vendors that I want to do business with.

This is some of the best information on this board.

Seems like the primary result of this new sub-forum is to essentially hide this kind of information from the main board.

If you mean the review forum, the second they started editing and wiping those threads, any modicum of credibility went bye bye.

? What?

No, seems like it makes it easier to see and find atttaboy threads, as well as .
'watch out for product or vendor threads'.

I've twice tried to follow a 'lighting' thread but can't find either now. Mike was to respond to one with an estimate but it's disappeared.

I dislike subforums period. Too many layers to click through.

Also dislike "important" forums being buried at the bottom of the main page. Look at the captains club for the perfect example. Was once upon a time a vibrant place. Now a ghost town.

One of them was removed as it was not on the correct forum. A thread on the Vendor Talk forum is supposed to be about an interaction (good or bad) with a vendor. The thread in question was someone "looking or a recommendation to buy lights from" That thread can be on Boating, Dockside, or the Trading Dock. It is not what that forum is supposed to be.

Ahh, gotcha, thnx 7. I'll message the vendor directly. I need some for a dock in the intracoastal. (Neighbors)
