"While authorities said the neighborhood has a low crime rate, resident Leon Simmons told CNN affiliate KTUL there have been a few burglaries in the past six months."

I bet those burglaries stop now . . .

Good Job! Multiple attackers, high capacity rifle is perfect for the job, well done!

Wonder what the words exchanged were; bet he warned them to get out or he would shoot them. Called his bluff, ended up 6 feet under.

Glad these 3 got their due.
Also glad to see one of em made it outside before dropping dead in the driveway.... this created a landmark that other bad guys will avoid.
Like hanging a coyote on the fence where you killed it, lets the other coyotes know to avoid that area.

Wonder what the legal bill will cost the homeowner?
The know the parents of "He was always a good boy." will sue.

hate to see teens killed, but these ding dongs where sure asking for it.

I do have to say I will not be stunned if we find out the shooter and the kids had some kind if involvement. Just seems odd for burglars to be so well armed. Feels more like home invasion, and those things are rarely random.

No tears shed on this one

I hear the rifle used was an AR15. Wondering how the media will spin this one.

Does seem suspicious that a 19 year old kid shot a bunch of teenagers, after they had words. But Sheriff says they didn't know each other? Either way, you never enter someone's house. Fatal lesson learned.

I'd put a post in the yard, "Last home invader got this far!"

I haven't seen anything that would connect the shooter to the dead criminals. Article on Fox quotes one of the neighbors saying it was a quiet neighborhood but there had been several burglaries in the last few months.

Am betting these three dead criminals found a nice neighborhood where the houses of working families were empty during the day and kept dipping into the pot until they broke into a house that was occupied by someone willing to make a stand.

Looks like OK is a stand your ground state.

F. A person who uses force, as permitted pursuant to the provisions of subsections B and D of this section, is justified in using such force and is immune from criminal prosecution and civil action for the use of such force.

This scenario plays out alost daily in Texas. I don't understand why anyone would choose to try to break in a home in Texas, knowing 1. Everyone has guns and 2. The law is very pro homeowner when it comes to thesee things. Only a fool would even try.

Will the getaway driver be charged with 3 murders now?
