Default AR 15 Entry Level Recommendations?

Okay, searched and I know we have covered this, but not finding what I am looking for. I remember one that was about $650 that most were saying was a good buy. Maybe a Bushmaster? Not sure. If not, what is a good entry level in .223?

Check out Wyndham Weaponry. Company started by the original founders of Bushmaster after his non-compete expired after he sold Bushmaster. Others with more knowledge will chime is soon, but it's worth a look. Great fit and finish around that same price point.

I highly recommend the M&P Sport !!. Mine has been flawless and very accurate.Grabagun had it for $525 this week. That;s a steal
They have it in stock. Flat rate shipping of $7.99. Hell, I might buy a spare.

Just read a favorable review in Gun Digest on S&W new "saint" AR15. MSRP is 899 but should sell for substantially less. Here's another review-

Im a big fan of the Ruger AR556. Its a nice rifle for about $600... its got a few perks the others don't. I like it but also like the S&W stuff as well.

I have to say it ....... get a Colt 6920 or 6721 and be done with it.

A few months or years down the road and you will have forgotten all about the few extra bucks you spent and you won't be wanting to upgrade.

For $250 more you have a the real McCoy

Read this review on the first AR Cracker posted up. I read this a few days ago. Very solid AR and decent price!

What's the intended use? Lots if options in your price range, but they are for varied uses.

Man, sometimes I wonder what life would be like without THT! Awesome choices! I currently do not own an AR other than my MP 15-22. And I was really asking for a friend (Is that still allowed!). Now I am thinking maybe I should grab one too! Thinking the MP maybe a good choice, even though it only comes with a 10 round mag.
