Default espn split screen, football BOO Hiss

espn clemson game- my wife said what is this, screen was in 3 or 4 sections. she said I don't care what the people on the side of the field are doing (and showing the announcers). we found another channel with one view only .
Are all the espn football games like that now?

The game was on all ESPN channels showing different views. Pretty freaking cool, same as for March Madness.

The main ESPN channels had it shown as normal. ESPNU had coaches commentary (including NCSUs own Dave Doeren), which was really cool.

We have TSN up here and they've had that for years now...it is just a click away on our remotes.
Personally I want to watch the game not all that other crap so I NEVER use the feature.

The multi-view video and multiple bobble-heads spewing forth dribble was so bad that I switched and watched the Giants/Packers replay. Ultimately, I missed a great game due to horrible network coverage.

It wasnt network coverage, you chose to watch the wrong channel. ESPN showed it just like any other game ever televised. You were on espn2,3,4 or whatever else the secondary channels were.

I had that multiple view thing on at first, too, and was like WTF? I said this is the WEIRDEST game I've ever heard announced! My son said "Go up one channel to regular ESPN" and there was what I expected as a "traditional" game broadcast.

Dang new-fangled, high falootin' stuff!
