Or maybe not.

I was sleeping before she got home last night and she had left for work before I woke up.

The reply to the email was "I don't know what you are talking about."

We'll see at 6:00 tonight.

.....oh, and to you guys that can't understand the email thing. I started dating last year and everything is text. Some of them want to text all the freakin time. I won't even mention some of the pictures that get texted. I was dating one for awhile and I was terrified of opening a text if in a public area or meeting! Okay QB, sorry for the derail. Good luck with your thing that she knows nothing about. Been there done that.

Ruh roh, she'll be home brooding for 2 1/2 hrs. May not play out well. Stop for flowers and a bottle of wine on the way home and open the door very, very sloooooowly.

What I have noticed about woman is they generally have a lower emotional intelligence than men. There is no logic or reasoning when they get mad. It gets annoying because after a few years of giving in to just move on some resentment builds up.

She's been cranky all weekend and I figured I'd try to put a stop to it.

Yup. Fortunately for me my wife is well aware of, and warns me when, she is pissed for no particular reason and knows it. She usually says "just shut up and let me be mad at you and then it'll be over".

I have it made. Hell, I went dirt biking the weekend of our first anniversary (only weekend available for the boys), which she authorized. She gives me crap about it every now and then in a joking manner, but when she said it was "fine" she actually meant it.

Occasionally when I'm frustrated with her I have to remember how many of my friends put up with wives that truly get mad and hold grudges for no reason. I simply don't have to deal with that.

"Do what ever you want" does not mean do whatever you want . It means make your decision wisely if you want to see the light of day!

should be interesting after a couple of weeks of bottling up her anger! Enjoy the "nice and calm" because the Cat 5 is churning somewhere out in the Atlantic and is just waiting to make landfall!

Pffffffffffffffffff, show some balls.
The op said what was on his mind and he did it because he believed in what he said....so he should face the storm and take it like a man. What the hell is the point of life if you can not express your thoughts to the person you are married with????

I agree, these guys that have to be told what to do every minute of their life and kiss their wife's ass all the while bitching about her to other guys...whatever. I have poker buddys like this and won't be better friends with them because I see this as a huge character flaw/weakness. If you have to ask your wife permission to do something I know I could never count on you to be a good friend, besides it's freaking embarrassing, be a man.
