So let me get this straight...you sent her a call-out email. What happened? Did you think she doesn't remember every sleight and transgression you ever made so you thought it'd be a good idea to give her written proof? Dude, you're F'ed!!!

I've been married 51 yrs. and I tell her, "Shut the F*** up and if you don't like it, there's the door"...under my breath.

And once she's on her hands and knees, I apologize...while I'm under the bed and she's poking the broom at me yelling "get out from under that damn bed!".

But that hadn't happen since after my surgery

Domestic duties were lacking between 12/26/2016 and 01/06/17 so I pushed the issue this weekend.

She's been cranky all weekend and I figured I'd try to put a stop to it.

How f'd am I ???
Here's your excuse. Deny, deny, deny.

"Sorry honey. That wasn't meant for you. Meant to send that email to (insert name of a friend) as an answer to his question on if he should call out his wife on her wrestling skills and challenge her to a match."

How about picking up a broom and push it. You live there too. Every time I put in a lil extra effort, she puts out a lil more effort. If you get my drift...

Tell her to use her head for something more constructive then a thing to waste perfectly good makeup on.

(Married 31+ years, we have had our moments..... )

Why would anybody send their wife an email?

It's likely she'll print the damn thing out and give it to the divorce attorney!

You have NEVER sent your wife an email?

I am perhaps the biggest luddite on this site and I send my wife emails a few times each week, as does she to me.

Unless it's a joke, something like this has to be in person and dam well better be deserved. What's said is said. Sending in email form is confirming a complete breakdown in communication.

I've only been married 3 years. My wife and I do email occasionally...few times a week regarding budget, or if I need to tell her about boys' weekend dates and want a paper trail

She does get slack on her domestical duties, but if I sent her an email about it I can't imagine the rage she would have. Usually I just start picking up her share of the work without saying anything and she jumps into action and tells me to stop.

I know the feeling...alot of times she doesn't understand how much I do to keep the outside maintained, vehicles maintained, all bills paid up, budget set, investments made, and all the other crap you gotta do to keep the train moving. Her main responsibility is to keep the house up and handle doctor's appointments and the dogs vet appointments, etc. When she falls behind I've learned it's best not to push the issue. Usually I can guilt her into doing what needs to be done.

Good luck to you.
