Default New Glock 23

The new Glock 23 arrived safe and sound from B&H Police Supply yesterday. Great service and they're a Blue Label Dealer so very good prices. Had them install a set of sights as well. Found an interesting holster option from Blackdog Concealment. Very well made and after talking to the owner Carl, he assured me that if I wasn't happy he'd take a return for 30 days no questions asked and they provide an LE discount on top of it.

Fresh out of the shipping envelope and pop the Glock in and rock solid zero adjustments. As you can see, when inverted with a full mag the Glock is locked in and there is no movement. As far as comfort, very comfortable with no printing and a nice secure fit. I have zero affiliation with them but figure someone may be looking so just passing it along. Be off to the range here in a day or two. Lastly a BIG thanks to Larry our resident Glock expert for pointing me towards B&H. Great folks to deal with

Congrats!

I have a blue label 23 in the safe that's 3 years old and still hasn't been shot. I have too many Glocks apparently.

Looks like you are set to go ....B&H is the place for anyone Police, fire, military, security or retired Police or military to get a Glock at great prices... I am not affiliated with them in any way, just a customer...

Congrats, excellent choice. I have a 23 Gen4 that has been flawless thru thousands of rounds. I took it and my G20 to the range yesterday. It was glock day for me. Not surprisingly they both performed without a hiccup. I seem to be getting better with them.

That I am and really appreciate the heads up. I could have ordered direct from Glock Blue Label but it was a 90 day wait! I don't think so LOL. To my knowledge, you've got to be active duty military, LE, first responder or retired and be able to produce your credentials. Anglea was great, scanned my credentials and sent by email and that was a wrap.

This is a great addition to the house. Going to take this to the range Wednesday with my PPS M2 and shoot a few hundred rounds. Looking to add a long gun to the collection or 2. Either an 870P or AR, both will get the job done. Kind of leaning AR, the 870 will knock my wife on her ass.

Thanks Rick, very pleased with it. Picked up 3 additional mags from a seller over on Glock talk dot com shipped for $17 each which is a pretty good price and close to dealer cost.

You may not want to install a 3.5 pound "Ghost" connector !

I hear they can cause "Bump fire" ...

Badbagger;

The Glock 23 is a very popular gun across the board. I was at a recent gun show before the election (mobbed to say the least) and a gun dealer I was trading a double barrel shotgun in to for a new Glock 43 was wearing a 23. He said to him from what he sees it is probably the most popular sold Glock model. That said my son bought one years ago when the gen 4's came out. When I went to buy one at the time there were none to be had, all I could get then was a new left over gen 3 model 22 with a longer frame.

Congrats on the new purchase!!

Congrats

Curious - why did you go with the 23 over the 19 ?

I've got the PPS M2 in 9mm, so went for the 40 and can swap barrels for a .9mm or 357.

Gold Dot is what we carry on duty.

Hey Rick, let me know when you pick up your 23's, I'll hit you up with some .40 ammo.

Gold Dot is what I now carry at my current position. I am still partial to Ranger ammo (basically black talon rounds)
