I love how spectators stand on the out side of a turn to watch a race.

Got to understand centripical force and objects want to travel in a straight line.

That dictates where to stand if case things take a deep nose dive.

He banged the inside of the apex first so anyone standing on the inside would have likely been toast.

"Carlos Sainz, the father of Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz Jr., crashed heavily during the Dakar Rally on Thursday, ruling him out of the remainder of the event. He escaped serious injury, along with two lucky spectators."
