Default Problem with NFL

This might be the first Thursday night game I am watching. this is definitely the first time I saw the intro. NFL is making the same mistakes that NASCAR did by alienating their fans. They are trying to expand to get the casual but they are forgetting the real fans. One of the examples, went from Hank to these people.

Yes, this is a problem. But the bigger problem is saturation (didn't learn from the NBA) and pussification of touching QB's.

Hank compared Obama to Hitler. Actually, I think that's unfair to Hitler so maybe he shouldn't come back.

I couldn't care less who does the intro. I barely watch that. I watch football for football. I question whether someone is actually a fan of said sport if the intro alienates them away from watching.

Nobody cares, until someone decides to remove someone from doing it based on political reasons. Then you are kind of forced to care.

Meh, i still don't care. Mainly because everyone who claims they're forced to care wouldn't really care if the political reasons were reversed.

I said it was one example of the NFL targeting the wrong kind of fan. I think the huge amount of commercials is another. I was watching one game either last weekend or the weekend before. They went to commercial for end of quarter. It was 4th down. So back from commercial, they kick a field goal. Commercial. then the kick off. then another commercial.

They have to make a profit with all the money they shovel to the NFL to broadcast.

Yep.

I cut my watching back just because they didn't do anything about kneeling during the NA.

Won't skip Giants but won't watch any other games that I would have before.

The local sports radio (Felger and Mazz) was talking about this, and mentioned there are 70 commercials in an NFL game! 70!!!

I thought it only seemed that way.

wow 70! Considering most are 90 seconds long, that is over 100 minutes of commercials in a 60 minute game.
