It would be very arrogant to assume we are the only intelligent life in all the vastness of the universe..

Yes, there is life "out there" but we might not recognize it...

It would be arrogant to preclude the possibility that some form of life exists elsewhere, but it would be unscientific to "believe in" it without being presented some evidence. There aren't aliens, until there are.

It's no different than calling a species extinct. Can anyone prove there aren't a few carrier pigeons or great auks somewhere, whether in an unexplored place or some rich guy's private menagerie? But when things aren't seen anymore, we call them extinct.

If you mean is there life elsewhere in the universe: Most probably

If you mean have alien spacecraft been visiting our water planet: No

This^

I don't think Mars Attacks is going to happen any time soon, but I think it's highly probable that there are at least microscopic living organisms out there, probably intelligent ones too.

Interesting...... could you use that same theory on say...... a god?

If they find us, they will eat us, whether they are micron sized or 10 ft tall.

I don't think anyone would claim religious belief is scientific. Christianity is a leap of faith.

Is your question whether people believe in aliens as some sort of religion, like the Raelians? There may be a few of those here.
