Default Great, tht got me in trouble

B/c I was goofing off on tht my wife is making me wrap Christmas presents, there is a pile of stuff to wrap.

I tried to get out of it by playing sick - no dice.

I ain't kidding here dude!

She gave me a list of who gets what and it's overwhelming.

I kind of looked at it and I think if I get like 40 gift bags I could be done in no time.

I'm gonna mislabel some stuff, and wrap it really crappily and hopefully never have to do it again

I think you should send a gift to whomever's thread you were reading when you got busted. That way you'll learn that your actions have consequences, at least that's what I used to tell my daughter.

Like you said, gift type shopping bags with a bit of colored tissue paper and a "To" label. No wrapping, no corners, no tape.

Use lots of burlap and duct tape. She'll never ask you again...

Check with some of the local Adult / Gentlemen's establishments. Surprisingly, many will have days where they will wrap presents while you sit back and um...... take notes on wrapping! Hooter's sometimes does this, too.

Some great ideas here.

Update: now I'm in deep doo-doo b/c I wanted a big flat surface to wrap presents on so I moved her sewing machine and knocked over some stuff she was working on

No good deed . . .

This is the answer. Take your lumps once, but never again. If you wrap the first few crappily enough she will stop you and take over. Then back to THT
