Default another version of Magua,s house break in

Well. I am watching tv and home alone other than the dog and I hear a knock at the door, me thinking it is my son coming from a friends to see me before he heads back to college. WRONG

2 asian men early 30,s saying they want to lease some land for "bee keeping" I get suspicious quick, beat up toyota car and they look sketchy.....1st guy tries to say we just want to "come inside to talk" as the second guy lets his shirt show he is carrying a pistol, all the while I had Bella (my belgium malinous) sitting behind the door as they cant see her and I just said sorry boys Im gonna have to release the dog.......well by that time, I had street sweeper in hand and she got called off as soon as they made it to their car......

still rattled by it

police report filed, and deputy said he agreed with what I did.....

florida tags BTW in redneck mississippi

Unreal crazy stuff. Quick thinking and good response prevented things from going way south.

Wow. Good job. I thought I was a little nuts to always carry or have within arms reach while home. Not so much lately after reading these 2 posts

My dog is 92 lbs and the sweetest dog I have ever owned. But when the wrong folks show up at the door, she gets that look on her face that I rarely ever see...

Yeah, the ol Remington 1100 is nearby in a hall closet, but I let the dog do the greeting and it never seems like anyone ever wants to see how friendly she is or isnt...

I still don't understand letting a possible perp get to my front door without me knowing they are coming.
