Default flat feet and over pronation....

Anybody here suffering of this (literal) PAIN IN THE BACK????

I have a severe case of flat feet since I was born, and although my parents did as much as they could when I was little, it never got any better.

Then I got in my teens. As a teenager you feel like you know everything, nothing affects you. nothing hurts you, you do not feel pain, and you will live forever...

Now I'm getting close to 40 and I'm starting to pay my dues....
Little by little... slowly but surely...

First, my feet would get tire just by walking barefoot for long periods of time...
Later, it would also be painful.
Then, it would be painful t stay standing for LONG periods of time, even on regular tennis shoes...
The day after doing any type of running sport, would feel like killing myself...

The last straw was on our last trip to Bahamas by boat. I did not realized it at that time, but I drove all the time standing, and always leaning on the same leg...
When we finish the trip and after I washed the boat I could barely even walk 2 steps without getting a pinch on my right lower back (the same side I lean on all the time) that would stop me dead on my track....

If you suffer of this crap.. make sure to get help and start early... if you do not know if you do it... at least go to any running store close by. Most of them now, have a threadmill with a camera pointing at your feet and you can see how good or bad you are placing your feet.

Anybody else here with this problem?
