I would really like to get my hands on some Blanton's. At what point during the year do they sell it?

Everywhere I've seen that had it, had it hidden. So if you don't see it on the shelf, ask.

Blanton's Black is my favorite. I’ve got two bottles on the shelf now. Red, green, and gold Blanton’s are all very good.

most Blanton’s is now sold in the European/Japanese market. It’s also much better than the “regular” Blanton’s found on US shelves.

Just received this 1/2 gallon from a friend today. What can I expect when tasting? It’s going to be hard to beat my Blanton’s Black Label.

Buffalo Trace has a very "bourbon" flavor. One of my favorites.

I find it to be extremely versatile for a “bargain” priced bourbon. Bourbon smash or other mixed drinks, neat, shots with the boys, etc. IMHO it does it all well without breaking the bank. It does everything well, not great, but well.

I got 2 bottles from the PA store in Bridgeville last week. My experience is that they get some every month. Just have to check with them very frequently.

BT and Blantons have become hard to find around here last couple months

Talked to lady at liquor store other day and she told me they have not had any come in in 4 weeks, even then she said they just put limited amounts on shelf because some folks will come in a buy ALL the BT they get

perfect description for BT. it's my go-to for mint juleps, but i'll drink it on the rocks as well if no better options available.

That was their exact intent with this bourbon. The Buffalo Trace distillery did not produce a bourbon with their namesake until they realized there was demand for it. They wanted a very "neutral" bourbon that touched on all of the notes they're known for. You end up with a solid, smooth, all-around drinker that's very fairly priced. If you like the BT, then you should definitely try Eagle Rare and/or EH Taylor small batch and single barrel.

For the record, or my record, I very much do not like EH Taylor single barrel but I absolutely love their small batch.

You know, information for if you have the option of buying either bottle but only the cash to buy one of them.
