From Chris Stapleton and Dwight Yoakam to Luke.... been flipping back and forth between it and the game, hasn't been all bad.

I liked all of it except for the Beyonce and Dixie Chicks part. I did enjoy all the uncomfortable looks in the audience during their song.

Interesting enough on the radio on my ride in this morning they were saying that they had to add someone like Beyonce to increase viewership, especially during the world series. I guess the country crooners alone didn't have the draw.

CMA is the only award show I'll watch they did a poor job on planning and should have waited until after the WS.

Thought I'd chime in here, I've been a old school country music fan for a long time, and haven't really listened to anything outta Nashville for a long time (complete horse shit, no talent hacks singing songs coming outta a conveyer belt). I'm totally sold on outlaw/alt country, so if your a Waylon/T. Van Zant type give these a shot, theyre some of the best:

Ryan Bingham
Chris Knight
Jason Boland and the Stragglers
Max Stallings
Houston Marchman
Ryan Adams

I was going to watch it since I do not care for baseball. Then I opted to put on some George Strait, light a cigar, crack open a cold one, sit in my garage and re rig some trolling lures. Pretty happy with my decision
