Default THT Prayer Request List

There are a lot of people who need help and prayers I see it here on THT in posts, and I'm sure there are a ton of unspoken needs. While I see them occasionally I forget and wish I had one spot to read them all as a reminder.

Also, if you are subscribing to this thread and you see a request posted, please "like" the post to encourage those who are posting requests.

If you're one of those with an unspoken need and haven't wanted to share it or don't want to be specific about it please feel free to add your request as a reply, even if it is as simple as "please pray for an unspoken need."

If you see something I missed or haven't added yet please let me know. I will do my best to keep editing this post to include all requests so they are here up top in a comprehensive list.

Some of these link to posts which have donation links in them. Please consider giving something to help out. Medical stuff is EXPENSIVE to deal with. It is easy to skip over that part, and feel like you are tight on money and then sit down to dinner, rent an on demand movie and drink a bottle of wine or whatever. Please consider taking that $10 or $20 just once or twice and instead helping someone who may not have that luxury anymore because what they're facing currently.

New additions:
- SRQMynatt's brother recently committed suicide
- Oceandansar's family is facing some challenges
- Spraynet's wife has been diagnosed with cancer
- Weekend Hooker's wife is dealing with severe depression

Prayer list, In no particular order:

- R.Waddill's mother with medical issues
- My friend Charles' daughter has lymphoma
- My unnamed friend with Multiple Sclerosis
- My friend Teresa with a very unique and complicated thyroid problem
- The Revenge's mom Marlene has stage 4 lung cancer
- Reelin in the keys' friend Allison medical issues

No matter what your opinion is, prayer works! Please don't turn the spirit of this thread into a debate or otherwise bring negativity to it. If you don't believe in prayer, then send whatever positive vibes, thoughts, energy or whatever you want to call it to those on the list because it all helps.

Excellent idea!
All of us need to remember that in one way or another, each of us will be on that list someday.

Prayer for those in special need, especially those who lack a good support base.

I would ask that you please add my nephew to the prayer list. He found out on Tuesday that he has a tumor in his upper spine-to-brain. He's an amazing young man that just finished his fellowship in urologic surgery. He and and his wife have a two year old and a new baby.. Please pray for him and his family.

Added to the list and prayers enroute. Tell him and family to hold strong and believe!

Thank you - that's why I did it. I'm not wanting credit for anything, I just wanted a list I could look at to remind me of those in need of prayer and I figured THT has some praying and supportive people this is a good a spot as any.

Please don't hesitate to add whomever. Friends of friends, family, your pets, etc - not limited to just THTers.

My mom, Marlene could use some. She's 67.
She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer two weeks ago.
I took her to her first chemo treatments last week.

I've been quiet about it. It's really hurt my heart. I'm not ready to say goodbye to my mom.

Thanks CrazyB. Prayers are always a good thing no matter that they try and tell us otherwise.

Really sorry man. I've added her to the list and I'm sure I can speak for everyone joining in here that we'll be praying for her and you as well.

I've had a few issues the last couple months, but after reading this thread it puts things in perspective.
