My favorite show! The old school simple attitudes and solid way of livin.

Figured with all the southern gentleman on this board someone would know

Damn! Thanks for the article. I didn't see any the of main cast being part of that criminal crap tho. Show still could have gone on

I like shows That portray life on the water. You could pick out what was real/pushed. The real bits were refreshing to watch compared to other reality shows. I guess they were a little too real, like the deadliest catch people

I liked Troy and his boys.

All scripted but I enjoyed him.

Seemed to be decent people

Well I got tired of it because.... they went out, caught alligators. After a while you get tired of 8ft gators being called 11ft gators. The plot never changed.

Hopefully it and all the other "reality" shows are dying and the networks will actually put some time and thought into creating something worth watching. I doubt it though.

I know this was tongue and cheek
Troy Landry had made his money prior to the show and many of the others have plenty money but choose to live a simple life. Coonazzes and Rednecks aren't relegated to the south.
