Most of the fishing plies rust. I put a can of coke in a plastic cup and soak it. Takes days sometimes but works. Get a few more uses that way. I have freed up reel handles like that too.

I have a nice pair of the long ones for pulling hooks out. Best I can do is spray them a few times a season with PB blaster and open and shut them over and over to get them freed up.

Van Staals will never rust.

You are going to pay for the feature, but they won't rust.

Makes you wonder what Coke does too the body.

I've had the same pair of leatherman pliers since about 95 and work fine. Just hit with wd40 every couple years.

HF sells them for $1.49, pick up 10 pair, they will break long before they rust and you replace them with a new pair every 2 years. for less then $15.00 your set for the rest of your life.
