Default Shout Out to Ocean Blue Yachts Sales in Stuart

We took out Pursuit down a few weeks ago from North Carolina to sell since we were not getting much action up here. We had a contract on the boat in about a week and a half and then Mathew came.

I have never been in a position that I could not secure my own boat in some way for storms whether it be trailering, adding lines, or getting it on the hill so when we saw that Mathew was likely to make a direct cat 4 impact on Stuart we got VERY nervous.

Bryan Boyd went out of his way to make this a easy as possible for us as we were just about to hop on a plane to secure the boat when he said he had it handled. Made arrangements to have it hauled, removed the curtains, the bridge TV, and blocked in a very secure location. He was EXTREMELY easy to get in touch with and kept us informed often concerning the status of our boat.

After Mathew had moved past them first thing this morning, he sent me some pictures of the boat to put our minds at ease.

I realize that this is fairly common practice but for some out of towners that couldn't do much of anything to make sure our boat was OK, he made it as easy as possible.

Also, he could not have been easier to deal with when selling our boat.

Ocean Blue Yacht Sales, and Bryan in particular, did a great job all the way through for us from listing, to selling, to making sure our boat survived a hurricane in good fashion.

Just felt like I would pass on a good story that came out of this terrible storm.

With a little bit of luck, this will be the last picture I get of her high and dry after the storm before the new owner takes her off our hands.

I have had contact with him pretty much every day and it sounds like things are getting back to normal down there.
