Looks quiet. Guess those yachts will remain there for the storm, just laying against the floating docks?

IMO that's insane to leave those yachts there, no way those docks are going to hold that large one in the background.

Default Talk about calm

Man that's flat calm. Is it always that calm.

It very rarely gets that calm up here in the Northeast.

Anyway, I'm sure it will kick up strong in the next day or two. The storm surge is going to be 5-9 feet. I feel sorry for the folks in Florida. I would pull my boat out of the water if possible.

That's the ICW. It's not much wider than where yatchs are. Cut to ocean is about 1/4 mile past bridge on left. Not so calm out there.

I live 3 canals north on back side of that view.

Didn't know that camera was on line. Thank you.

Being from So Cal I know what to do in an earthquake but have no clue about hurricanes.

Regarding those yachts; where would they take them?

Bahia Mar and Sunrise Harbor are chock full of boats bigger than that.

You can go down South and around the tip of FL then go up the west coast and stay in Naples or somewhere in the lee over there. The other option is to go through a canal to Okeechchobee then to the West Coast as well. If I had a $1mil+ yacht it would have been on the West Coast days ago.

You know how much that trips would cost? Pay your insurance and do what they tell you to do.
