I appreciate the storm coverage and the reports from NOAA, and I like that they update it right away. I just can't stand the way they feed off of the storm....they are excited about it...these storms cost lots of damage and loss of life but they love it.

Just like the " Deadliest Catch" and other tv shows, these people get to love the camera. People begin to recognize them, start asking for autographs and then they become tools on the screen.

Cantorie is full of himself. What I hate is when they get out in it like who gives a Shit. They're like oh its blowing hard and the rain is stinging my face. No shit your in a hurricane dumb ass. Like it's just so much better reporting while standing it.

solution: stop watching it!

seriously, check in online every 4-5 hours or so if you need to. that'll be fastest most real-time update vs. whatever shows up on broadcast.

It's a business, not a public service.
They promote their own interests.

You can get that same info from the computer you are posting on and don't have to deal with The Weather Channel.
