Default Expediting a TWIC card?

Is there any way to expedite the TWIC certification process? I've never had to have one and didn't realize they were somewhat of an industry standard. I was laid off this morning from a good job of 5 years. By 5pm I was on the phone setting up my drug test with my next possible employer when she asked me when my TWIC card expired. Apparently I can't work very many places without one. I'm going to apply in the morning, but if there are any tricks to making it happen quick I'm all ears!

Fwiw a lady I know got hers at the twic location in Panama City, FL in 5 days.

Fastest I ever heard of.

Maybe ask around if you know guys in the oil patch etc what location is the fastest.

Maybe try on gcaptain as well.

Good luck.

Work in the oil industry and just had to have my TWIC renewed. We did it onsite and the company paid for it. I renewed on Tuesday and it was in my mailbox on Thursday. I couldn't believe it. Not sure what the employer did to have it expedited. With that being said, my first one I got before hiring on with them took about 2.5 weeks.

Go to a small county office, I've heard of people getting it in 4 days. I went to port of Miami and it took 6 weeks.
