Default SoClean/Cpap users?

Is there anyone here that uses a SoClean to sanitize their Cpap? I was thinking about getting one but wanted to here from real world users. What do you think about it?

Looks good, but costs money.

Cheaper to use diluted mixture of water and bleach. Or water and white vinegar. Then flush very well.

The water container and mask can also go into the dishwasher.

So, the wife say an ad and wanted to buy that for me. It scared her thinking my lungs would rot without it. I googled them on amazon and just got one for under 50 bucks. they have 20 or 30 versions of little ozone cpap cleaners on Amazon.

Wife is a microbiologist and says the machine is a gimmick
Better than absolutely nothing but not as good as hot water and appropriate cleaner

I have one but did not purchase. My mother passed so I inherited hers. I use it a couple times a week. It definitely works and smells fresh, not sure it is better than the methods mentioned here already, but it does work.

I've had my machine for a month now. I saw these and almost jumped in feet first for $350 with a $50 dollar off coupon. It takes me 1 min. to wipe my mask with an alcohol pads for a buck-two ninety-eight , 1/2 gal of white vinegar that takes me 3 mins. to clean the hose and 1 min to sling the water out of it outside....

I clean mine once every two weeks, manually.

Mix 2 cups white vinegar, small squirt of Dawn dish soap (any dish soap will work) and 8 cups of hot water.

Let mask, mask harness, mask hose, and water reservoir tank soak for an hour.

Rinse well with hot water, and your good to go.

Have cleaned mine this way for 7 years and have never had a problem. I replace my C-Pap mask, hose, harness & water tank every 6 months, as recommended.
