Default gift idea for fishing buddy.

Guys my fishing buddy and his wife have retired and are moving to delete, he's selling his boat and giving away good fishing gear much of it to me. We need a few ideas what we can get Bernie and his wife for they're new adventure. I think he's holding on to his surf rods so no fishing things needed. He's been a great friend he'll be missed.

Does his wife fish? If so, maybe take them on a charter if they're near the water.

I am in the gift basket business, we specialize in custom themed gifts. We have the "gift bucket" which is custom designed to the persons type of hobby, and what they specialize in. Trout fishing, wahoo, turkey hinting what ever. You can call me at 904.517.3646 if you want to discus ideas.

Tell him not to move to delete. That is a bad place. Maybe a nice bottle of something and a gift card to restaurants in delete.

What do people do in Delete and why are they moving there? Gift certificate to a nice restaurant there? A nice bottle of wine/champagne? Tickets to a ballgame? Engraved oyster knives? How much are you looking to spend?

Whether from here, or elsewhere, you can't miss with gift baskets. Monthly gifts, even better. I have deleted HJ's further details in keeping with the secrecy of this thread.

How about a custom sign board made with the GPS coordinates of his favorite fishing hole? I ordered a sign board from this Sea Boards designs, and it was beautiful. VERY good to deal with and much communication as to exactly what you want and how it's made. Check out the website....he can make anything you want. Perhaps a jumping fish with the GPS coordinates below it or some other meaningful area. I was extremly pleased with the workmanship and quality. Good Luck!
