I like to think I'm an investor not a trader per se. I use Vanguard, simple, cheap, works for me

Solar has been on fire... stalking JKS. Up 20 straight days, patiently and I mean patiently waiting for a meaty fade. Not trying at all until we see major sells and some key levels break to the downside. Should provide a helluva backside trade soon.

"remote backup"....probably.
But...."Business Continuity"...is kicked up many levels. I can "boot up" a server...on the backup appliance...and run the server on the network.
Regular backup relies on being restored to a server. Say the server gets hit by a power surge, or a motherboard fails, or it catches fire, or it floats down the river in a flood, or...or....
Business Continuity is a type of backup...where you can bring the server back up virtually, in mere minutes. traditional backup needs a server to restore to...gotta go order one, pay for it, receive it, build it, burn it in, deliver it..and then restore the data. Now you're days into it...often a week or more.
Datto can also let you boot up server instances in their data centers...offsite, within minutes. Say your building is "down" for whatever reasons (like when storm Irene came across my area and knocked out power in areas for weeks). The big wigs are home...still need access to their data, still need email flowing. We had one of our clients that is a sub contractor of Pratt & Whitney accessing their servers data and email for the 2x weeks that their plants were without power up in northern Connecticut..thanks to Datto.

Old fashioned backup...takes a while to restore. Usually just backs up the data...so if your computer blows up, you need another computer, and/or install Windows..and then restore the data. Long process..long time to get up and running again.
Disaster recovery....better than old school backups, it is full image backups...but still need hardware to restore to. Faster than old fashioned backups, but still usually more than a day or three.
Business Continuity...appliance stands in for the server in mere minutes...giving you time to go buy replacement server(s)...and then choose an optimal time to restore outside of production hours. Means really minimal downtime.

Trulieve TCNNF closed at $19.98 .. up $1.23. Could be the run up towards November earnings report. CEO won Stevie Award also for outstanding management.

QQ for a newbie. Let's say a company has an earnings announcement on 10/8. And on 10/2 there were multiple Form 4's filled out with folks buying large amounts of shares in this company. Would this be a sign that the earnings announcement expected on 10/8 will have some very positive news?
