Of course they did, I recently sold it! I'm holding onto AAPL and TSLA for another month or so. I was really disappointed when AMZN took a dive, I didn't expect that. I'm going to hold it for the long term since I'm confident that it's going to go back up. October is going to be interesting, hoping for another 2-3 week run up on stocks and then I'm moving 1 of my accounts to a few different money markets to protect my growth.

I had 25% of my retirement on the sidelines for the eventual pullback so I moved that back in last night (10% of it still out - saving some powder), and bought some AAPL this morning in my "fun" account. Nothing too exciting.
Had a buy order for NKLA yesterday early early morning at $41 that I cancelled.... that was a mistake lol. Could have flipped that for a quick buck.

I started out doing exactly what you are doing with aapl 3 years ago. Then after making a few thousand here and there I noticed that my brother which bought apple 5-7 years ago just held it and did nothing.
Long story short If I would have just held Appl for 3+ years I would be much further ahead today. So when everything took a dive at the end of march I moved half of my portfolio into aapl. My purchase price was around $270 before the split and had last sold at $222 the year prior.
I am still holding it now. If you believe in the company just leave it there and you won't have to ride those roller coasters. It wasn't for me that's for sure.

I understand both sides of the coin. Here’s how I look at it, I got 2600 shares yesterday afternoon at 114.65. I still holding as of now (I know I have made nothing yet). But just say I sold at 118 which it hit numerous times today that’s 12k profit for less then 24hrs. Keep in mind I flipped it about 5 times yesterday with 4 winners and 1 decent loser. I enjoy the excitement, actually I guess I’m addicted! I day-traded for a living years ago for years now I just have more money to play with! AAPL is a great long term investment just not for me. Flipper keeps on flipping.
now just need damn RKT to get its ass going.

I have a reserve too for the same reason. Started dipping into it last week.
