If you believe in any of that technical analysis stuff, the price chart for RKT is classic cup and handle. Which usually means price is going to go up. That's why I bought into it the other day. But I screwed up and set my stop loss too tight and got bounced right out of it. I should've realized that it would be a little more volatile at this point given it's a recent IPO. Oh well. Not the first dumb mistake I've made.

My latest dumb mistake was picking up CVS this morning at 60.50. So if you own any CVS, you may want to hurry up and sell it. Lol.

I'll answer my own question. Yes, RedWrangler, selling at the open and buying back on a dip was the correct thing to do.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on NIO? Missed out on the surge but wondering how long term will be.

I bought CVS because it looks oversold. Just looking to make a few $ on a swing trade. Not expecting to make significant $ though.

I don't know what to think. Chinese Tesla? Maybe. But after reading what they're doing with their subsidiary holding company, I'm kinda left scratching my head. I have to admit, I have a major problem with being skeptical of Chinese stocks after what happened with Luckin coffee. Glad I didn't buy that one, but I was seriously considering it.

I am by no means an expert, but I think your plan to move into less risky investments is wise.

It just seems as if there's been this mad buying frenzy since the market bottomed and everything's gotten out of hand. Tesla has a P/E of 1,222 !!! I just can't see how it can keep going in this direction.

Why did you sell BABA? I was thinking with their significant ownership in Ant Group it would be a good long-term hold.

It was a trade. Quick 25%. I already own a good bit in the ETF CXSE.

You may be correct. I have been fooling around with some momentum stocks. Easy in a market like this one but that is not typical of what I do.

Earnings will be good. Forecast guidance is the key right now.
