Good thing they had the cover. Wouldn't want sun to damage the paint on that.

What an ego buster. Love to see the repair bill on that.

They're trying to protect the identity of the owner. It's pretty common that license's plates come off ASAP and they get covered in tow. We insure a lot of these.

I'd be totaling it for sure. Part's are near impossible to get and the suspension damage alone is probably $250k

It happens but it sucks. At least it happened while they were driving it. I've had a few incidents in garage's that make me want to shed a tear. I saw a numbers matching gt500 go up in flames due to a contractor having an accident while working on something in the garage recently.

I'm fairly certain that the intellectual scholar holding the camera and commentating could have cursed more than that....

No way that's totaled. $1.4million msrp. Probably worth $2million+ on the open market. It will be fixed.

Would you buy a Laferrari or any exotic sports car for full open market value knowing full in well it was involved in a heavy collision involving deployed airbags and heavy suspension damage?

I bet it will sell for a pretty penny on the salvage side but no way that would get fixed....at least if it came across my desk.

Let me put it this way. The vehicle 99.9% has an agreed value policy. Would you rather get a check for the 1.5-2 mil it's insured for or have it fixed and sell it for $500k down the road? Owner and insurance company will total it.

Anyone know the story ? someone cut him off I bet... Doubt he was rocking too hard in the middle of a small town in the Italian Alps ...

just found the answer " Hong Kong dude lost control" during a 100 car Ferrari event - obviously showing off ....

That car is faaaar from totaled. Sure, it has suspension damage and some body panels are trashed but it's nothing that can't be fixed. The "Tub" of the LaFerrari is practically indestructible. I doubt the car was going more than 50 mph, if that.
