Default Any THT'ers a Spyderco dealer? **CANCEL-Neighbor found knife**

I have been carrying the same spyderco police edition smooth edge, all stainless blade for years...at least 10.

Somehow, down at the bay this weekend, it disappeared. I got so used to the thin profile in my pocket and so far can't find anything else I want to own instead. I like the weight of it as opposed to the plastic grips.

I have a Benchmade in my pocket today and cant stand it.

Suggestions?

I suggest that you wait a week because you know it's going to turn up. My wife lost her car keys 2 weeks ago. Found them in a pocket of a pair of shorts last night. I had the new keyless FOB in my cart ready to buy for the sweet deal of $250 + programming and laser cutting the spare.

I have carried my Spyderco for years. I love mine. Don't know the model. Its got a black plastic handle and a serrated edge. Love it.

Oh how I wish that were true. I lost my Spyderco Salt over Memorial Day and was convinced that it'd turn up.

Nope.

Now you need to buy a new knife just to celebrate.

Jackets that have a waist string on them sometimes grab the clip and pull them out without you knowing. Lost a knife that way and found it a month later when I used the jacket again.

I feel your pain lost an irreplaceable benchmade Afck a while back that I carried for over ten yrs.

About a month ago I had my little Ken Onion Kershaw model 1600 in my bathing suit pocket, unclipped (mistake #1). Went to pull my wallet out of the same pocket, and the knife pulled with it, bounced once on the gunnel, and plopped right into the water at the slip. $%^&*! -

About two weeks later I said "what the heck" - and took a couple of pretty strong magnets, zip-tied them together and tied a string to them, plopped them in the water at the dock and within 5 seconds felt something attach to the magnets - yep, my knife!

Moral of the story, you gotta remember the times things work out...!

Suggest that you send me the Benchmade

Glad you found it

Amazing how attached we become to things

For anything I really can't live without (relatively speaking), I usually get 2

Buy a spare, then get a spare for the spare. Then get one for out in public, one for camping, one for bbqs, and get spares for them....

We could still have a dealer step up. I looked hard at buying a benchmade last week, just couldn't click the button.

Retired Vietnam vet, lives down there full time, takes care of the pool during the week and looks after my place. I mentioned to him that I lost it and if he saw it to please let me know.

He makes his rounds of the property every morning on the garden tractor and found it.

Absolute best neighbor you could ever have. Loves my kids like they are his own and if he sees you with a tool, he is right behind you with a better tool for the job.
