We used Celebrity ...had a giant X on the stack. Did one week on a bus and train then one week heading south on the boat. Lots to see. Enjoy the planning and the trip.

Do yourself a favor and do the land portion separate from the cruise line. we just did a land and sea with princess and the cruise was okay at best but the land portion was much worse. the food at their lodges is very expensive and not good and the denali princess rooms are about what you would expect from a cheap motel. Driving alaska on your own would be a cool trip. Doing it cramped on a bus and on the cruise lines schedule not so much. Oh and a celebrity cruise ship just crashed into one of the docks at ketchikan so maybe try norwegian
