It isnt the greatest, thats for sure. I had to download "movie maker" program the other day, to edit and link a video since 10 doesn't even have that.

I don't want to hear Microsoft whine about this settlement. MS brought this on themselves by deciding to push WIN10 updates whenever they feel like it.

The latest on the WIN7 and WIN8 updates. The red "X" box in the upper left corner of every windows? The one that closes the page? MS started popping up a page begging people to upgrade WIN7 and WIN8 to WIN10 before July 27. If you clicked the red "X", the window was programmed to interpret that as approval to start the upgrade. Wow!! Talk about under-handed!

So, those of you who saw unexpected upgrades start on your machine, that may be why.

It appears that after MS got exposed, they decided to change the red "X" back to the way it works on every other Window ever created.

The "freeing yourself with a Mac" comment is really funny... I do not think there is any other company that limits the user more than Apple.

No, but Microsoft spared no expense building in ways to collect and sell data about your every move using a Windows 10 system. Why do you think it is "free" and they have shoved it down everyone's throats so hard? Nothing is free, we are making it pay for itself simply by using it.

Same thing is going to happen with Mac, you'll need to update at some point, and ou'll be pissed that things will be gone or unusable.
