Interesting. I think Yetti was going to file and IPO for $100M. Their expenses had ballooned as well.

Too many players entering the market at lower price points. They're better but probably not that much better.

Maybe similar to what has happened with GoPro. $38 -->$14 even though it's a great product.

I tested it. I went to the site and checked in the cart, the site accepted it and it adjusted the price. I just didn't hit order because I already have the one on order. It might save someone else a few bucks though.

Ordered the south jetty 80L with the labor day deal. Received it on Wednesday very nice looking product. Will fit under my lean post perfectly. Never owned a Yeti only looked at them. The South Jetty looks to be same build quality. Have not used it yet but I will update once it has been filled with ice. Been looking at the ARTIC brand for a while but was turned off by the long wait and the lack of a bigger size offering. Ordered the South Jetty on Friday received it on Wednesday free shipping also.

Same here, ordered mine last Friday and rec'd it on Wednesday. I went w/the 60L. I really like the cooler and for a price that is 1/2 of an equivalent Yeti. I put some ice and beer in mine and through it on my back deck in the sun to see how it well it works. I'll post more as I go.

I just received my RTIC 65 cooler a couple of days ago after an almost 2 month wait. Haven't use it yet but it seems extremely well built and is heavy about 30 lbs. empty.

Yeah these things are heavy, now add 50lbs of ice to it and move it around...Its hard.

Filled my South Jetty Cooler with frozen Venison in Kansas. After driving two days back to South Carolina, it's all still completely frozen.

I went to South Jetty Coolers yesterday to see if they might be selling soft coolers yet; they're not. But I did see they lowered the price on all their coolers.
