Default Advice: Oakley Lenses

I lost my 250$ pair of costas during last season and am not going to buy another right now..

I have a pair of Oakley Holbrook's in nice shape... Want to buy a pair of replacement lenses that are polarized.. The lodes number is 009102-06 55 18 137

Which Oakley polarized lenses have you found to be the best

Thank you

I wouldn't touch Oakley again for free... I have a pair of Half Jackets with prescription lenses that Oakley has replaced the lenses twice in 18 months because the coating peeled/dissolved off. The last time, they told me the glasses were no longer under warranty and I would have to purchase new lenses the next time.

They asked what I was doing, I said I was wearing them ... Apparently I was putting them on my face - over my eyes, and that is wrong... Thermo Nuclear Protection - I DON'T THINK SO...

Same experience with Oakley. Peeling lens coating...looked like crap. A friend stepped on mine...best day of my life.

Look into Randolph eng. amazing lenses that rival the best polarized and you can still see your chartplotter without distortion.
As afar as Oakley the peeling is usually salt water ph issues. I always like the fire or ruby polarized.

There is a company on eBay that sells budget replacement lenses for 15/20 bucks.

Yes. The lenses are easily interchangeable but when I drop $400 on a pair of prescription shades, I expect to use them until I do something stupid like lose them or break them, and not to have to be trying to get warranty replacement for normal wearing use.

Default TOO Expensive for me

Trying not to derail but MHO

I'm 76, NEVER had a pair of expensive sunglasses, for fishing and fished most of my 50 years in Florida. Eyes have no more issues than my friends who YES bought expensive sunglasses. Maybe I'm genetic lucky.
I do buy regular glasses for daily wear, that are the best money can buy, and before and sometimes after, transitions I would and still do use a cover over sunglass glasses about $19 and have them in both smoke and grey depending of where I'm fishing.

I have found the best polarized sunglasses for the money are Suncloud. $49 retail and often found for less online. Made by Smith Optics, great glasses, great warranty and you won't cry if you break or lose them. I have Smith's, Natives and Costas and wear my Sunclouds more than any of those.

I second the sunclouds for the money. I like revos but there more money. Bass pro sells strike kings and for $29 there decent as well.

Black Iridium Polarized.

Have them on my M-Frame's and they have been excellent. I also have them for my half-jackets and flak jackets.

Fuse lenses. Replaced several ray ban frames with their lenses. Very good lenses for the money.
