Default A personal loss

It's been sometime since I have been on here to chat with you guys and offer any input I might have...I have tried to read and get back into the swing of things....I must send an e-mail to one very nice guy (THT Member) from NJ...who was here on a work assignment and I only had one nice evening dinner and chat...Steve, I'll drop you a note...

I have had a very close personal friend pass away and four days later his son (26) died of a un-detected heart problem.....I thought last year was the only rough one like that, I would ever expierence, my wife lost two Aunt's in four days.

On a side not it's been 10 days without a smoke for me, the Tiki Bar is now open.......and the dang weather is going into the upper 20's tonight, just finished covering all our plants in the back yard.

So, time for me to get back into a somewhat normal life.

Oh, TB Hawks ~ SO SORRY to hear about your losses. I had wondered where you were, but thought maybe you were just busy with fun stuff - NOT having to deal with UNfun stuff.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and if you feel the need to "let 'er all out" - feel free. We're here to support ya, buddy!

Take care ~

I feel for you . . . it is especially tough when two members of a family leave us in a very short period of time

On a positive point . . . congrats on kicking the habit . . . keep at it one day at a time

Losing people who are close especialy young ones is certainly tough, their memories will always be with you. Keep the chin up, enjoy the Tiki Bar, Congrats on quitting.......... Life is short - enjoy it.

Sorry for your loss - especially difficult when a young one goes - my cousin passed of cancer just 3 months after her mother did. Hit us all hard.

Sounds like you are on a campaign to kick the smoking habit though? If so, I wish you luck and strength with that.

TB

I can't imagine a double barrell shot like that two years in a row. God be with you & yours.

As a smoker, it sounds like you could have picked a better time to quit...........
