Default Is this a scam?

I received an email from ABC USA with the subject line, DHL Delivery report. There's a pdf attachment that I have yet to open in fear of a virus being attached. I have a couple things on order that I haven't received any shipping confirmation emails yet.

That sounds like a scam to me. I would contact the companies you ordered from and request shipping details. I have received many packages and mail with incorrect postal codes. It still has the city and state and they usually figure it out.

The way its written and no tracking number would indicate a scam. If your not convinced call DHL customer service.

Contact the seller directly to confirm shipping and tracking.

Check the actual email address of the sender.

Don't open the attachment.

Vote for Trump just to piss off the Nigerian sender!

Scam. Just look at the way it is written. DHL wouldn't be sending emails on a 3rd grade level.

If you didn't order anything that is shipped by DHL, how would they have your email address?

Sounds ok to me. For faster shipment make sure you reply with your Social Security number, birth date, home address and phone number, mothers maiden name, bank account numbers with current balance & ATM password. Or you could google DHL Scam and find out its fake in 3 seconds.

SCAM, its been going on for years, I`m a former DHL/Airborne Express Employee. 25+ years.
This scam email really picked up steam 2008-2009 as the takeover merger was happening.
Every day my commercial customers would be getting some version. Initially it was thought that a pissed off former CSA/ IT Dept. employee was involved due to the large amount of customers affected.
Never heard if they tracked the source, but the frequency for the commercial customers decreased thru 2010.
