New systems are 1080p HD and can be zoomed in on play back. Depending upon placement probably were able to read the license plate and maybe see a face if not masked.

I would wager that those masterminds were in that store, casing the joint before the robbery, and probably wearing the same cloths/sneakers without the masks and hoodies.

That's what I was thinking. I'm sure they'll be caught. Too bad they messed up such a nice looking place. Wonder what else they're planning with all that new firepower.

Thug life. That's about 8 miles from here.

There was probably $15,000 in high end scopes they were not interested in, and there's $1,200 in Yeti coolers right there by the door.

Awesome video footage.

Are gun shops not required to lock up their firearms in safes the they are closed?

The worst thing about this robbery is that most likely those guns will end up on the street being used in gang violence.

You know that more strict background checks and closing the gunshow loophole would have prevented this, right?

My question is where the hell did the 9 guys come from? They couldn't have all been in the pick up truck. Freakin bums, I hate thieves.

I'm not sure they are required but any ways they were.

Did you not see the cage around the whole store, that took a heavy duty diesel pick up truck to attempts to brake open?

the entire place was a safe.

Not a big safe. I have seen plenty of arms rooms/safes and even the ones that no longer qualified as being secure enough for military schools, etc to have real guns stored in them in the mid 70's would have resisted attempts to forcibly break into them for more that long enough for the cops to respond in an urban setting like that.

Most likely the truck is stolen.

There were 10+ guys doing this robbery, that's a lot of mouths that need to stay shut. I doubt that happens.

When the owners claim this on their insurance most likely they will be dropped and have a very hard time getting insured.

Tonight's news says that three of the perps are in custody and many weapons have been recovered.

New and creative. I have a business in that strip center and those concrete seats were put there to stop the "Drive-ins", now they are doing "pull-outs"

In the past year, that place has been robbed 3 times, that I know of! Another time was an attempt with a stolen truck left there full of empty cough syrup bottles in the bed.
