Default Hotel rec in St. Augustine

I'll be passing through and stopping for one night in late March. Will be with wife and 2 boys, 10 and 7. Can anyone recommend a hotel? I'd like to take in some of the sights and stay in the historic area. Not too concerned about the beach.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Wife and I stayed at the Doubletree down by the water. Very nice and walking distance to everything. I'll see if I can find the link.

Safe walking area and just down the street from everything including the historic district. Wife had a great time shopping and the atmosphere was very welcoming.
