Man, I'm too old to sit out in the sun for several days surrounded by smelly hippies and for sure too cheap to pony up like $400 plus for VIP tickets. Likewise, my musical taste has evolved as I have gotten older. that does not mean that I am gong on stub hub to find good sat for Michael Buble, but it does mean that I want to here well crafted songs and do not have the same level of patience for much of extended noodling associated with most jam bands that I had when I was younger. Like Slater said in "Dazed and Confused"....nobody can handle a 30 minute drum solo on strong acid.

Sunfest for sure...Duran Duran headlines the first night, Train the next...ZZ Top Saturday night.

I really want to see some of the 80's festivals in London....so many great acts get together over there.

Yes she does. Really looking forward to that.

Jan and I saw Greg at the Kravis center Jan 2014. From VW microbuses and acid to Range Rovers and valets. Seems these pinko hippie commies did alright for themselves.

Greg`s son Devon opened the show with his band and played with Greg on Dreams and One Way Out to close the show.

Greg`s son Michael sounds just like dad.

Saw Derek when he was a kid on Clematis. Never heard Derek and Susan together.
Have go pro will travel.

Tell me more about Watermelon. We were going to Festy with our friends and kids, and now its moving to the Interlockn site and getting bigger. Looking for a replacement that's kid friendly, I've heard good things about that festival.

I managed to see the Gov't Mule for two of the New Years shows 2006 and one of the ABB shows in March of 2007 at the Beacon in NYC. The opening acts for Mule the two nights were Los Lobos and North Mississippi All-Stars. I was in the tenth row right in front of Warren Haynes for the second Mule show. I had dinner at 21 in December and at the Tavern On the Green in March before they tore down the big solarium room and also stayed at the Waldorf-Astoria for the March trip. . Several geeky/touristy bucket list items crossed off in that relatively short period of time.

I'm going to do Tortuga fest on the boat again (weather permitting) also got field tickets to see Pearl Jam play Wrigley field in August, it's not a festival but it's outside and I'm excited about it. I'll also see them play Ft Lauderdale and Miami in April.
