screenshot
part of a page
Image result for mac screenshots
Take a screenshot of part of your screen
Press Command-Shift-4. ...
Move the crosshair pointer to where you want to start the screenshot.
Drag to select an area. ...
When you've selected the area you want, release your mouse or trackpad button. ...
Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.
************************************************** ************************************************** ****************
whole page
Open all the apps and windows you want to include in your screenshot, and arrange them just exactly the way you want to see them saved.
Press Command + Shift + 3 all at the same time.
You'll hear a camera click sound, and your screenshot will appear on your desktop in .PNG format, with the title Screen Shot [Date + Time].
Double click on the screenshot to open and share it with Preview. Right click and choose Open With, or drag and drop it, to open and share it with another app.

If your like me, you'll have to ask again next time.

The youngs guys at work, show me how to do things on the puter
all the time, don't have to do what ever it was for a while
and next time I'll be d@mned if I don't to holler for them again.

Must be an age thing or something

I'm actually trying it on this page... I can't seem to figure it out. I don't have any young ones to yell too

Put the mouse in the middle of what you want, hold down shift and command and press 4. Believe it only works with a Mac.
