Default Talk About Sportsmanship and Compassion

This high school wrestler was 27-0 and watch what he did. That's what it's all about.

Good job. You can tell the parents did right raising that young man, you can also tell he listened.

Class act for sure, but how does the winner feel when he discovers he was allowed to win?
Stuff like this should not be broadcast over social media.
For simply this reason. Nice kid, and nice thing to do.

Yep. I coached a special needs kid in high school. He never started but I got him plenty of prelims. I would ask the kids on the other teams to take it easy on him. Every single one I asked smiled and did just that. They never let him win but would always make it a "good match". Wrestlers are a unique breed.

With all of the bullying we constantly hear about, someone with this much compassion is a great change of pace! Quality individual for sure!

That special needs kid will never believe he didn't win the match, that's all that counts.

I coached in the Special Olympics for years. Best memories of my life. This video, this post... hit me in the feels.

Very much a class act. Good on him and on his parents. My faith in humanity, albeit tested regularly, is still there.
