Default New Car Buying

Need some advice on buying a new Acura. AAA used to offer members a pretty good deal of $400 under invoice. But I went to their site and they must have changed deals. I price a new RLX and basically I'm paying MSRP. Are you kidding!! $55-56,000 for a new Acura RLX. I'm even considering getting a 2015 or 2014 used one. Autonation is the closest dealer around, and they are in Orlando. Basically 2 dealers in Orlando.

Is there any price source to see what cars are really selling for that isn't supported by the dealers with questionable information on it? I always thought that you should be able to get a Jap car for around 92-95% of MSRP. I haven't bought a car for 5 years. My acura is a 2003. Kinda stuck and I have to buy a car pretty soon.

Consumer Reports offers a service on their web site that will show you typical prices paid by their members for cars in your area. According to them, you should be able to buy a base model RLX in the Orlando area for 7.4% under MSRP. In my area, the normal discount on that car is only 2.5%.
