Sense8 is an odd yet very very good show. The visuals are out of this world and you REALLY have to pay attention to what is going on. It's not your typical "mindless" tv show.

I highly recommend it, especially if you have a 4k tv and the 4k upgrade on Netflix. As I said, it is visually and intellectually stimulating. i found myself more than once having to back it up because i was so busy looking at the cinematography that I missed the plot (or visa versa).

For "mindless" tv I really enjoyed Entourage (not on Netflix)

Although not on Netflix I just finished both seasons of Bosch (Amazon Prime series) and thought it was great. It stars Jimmy from Sons of Anarchy

I think I'm going to flip a coin today whether to begin House of Cards Season 4 or Bosch Season 2. I really like both shows.

I found a Steve Ray Vaughn documentary done in 2014. Was really good on Amazon Prime. I was fortunate to see him and his brother in New Orleans one year. One thing I learned which I would've never guessed in a million years was when SRV went to the Montruex jazz festival he still had no record deal. He was discovered by Jackson Brown and David Bowie if all people. Go figure.....Its a long Documentary 2 hours but interesting. the disappointing part is they really did not discuss him and his brother reconciling . I had no idea SRV played on lets dance, holy crap some serious useless trivia but amazing none the less.

I thought Soaked in Bleach about Kurt Cobain's "Suicide" was pretty interesting.

Agreed. Watched that with the kids. They couldn't believe those kids in Africa had to walk/run miles through the bush, avoiding pissed off elephants, every day to school each way. Quite an eye opener for them.
