Who is lucky enough to have snow on Christmas Day this year? None for us...t-shirt weather!
Merry Christmas everybody.

Had the air on for the last few days, not too hot, but the humidity got to me..

Meanwhile, two photos yesterday from our summer digs.... They have a little snow, but trout still biting, and enough snow to see the ponies frolic...

Wow! That's a brown? Many years since I've been inland fishing - if we had trout like anymore that I would go again.

Temp gauge in truck yesterday read 78 here in VA. Was miserable trying to sleep last night without turning the air on. Good thing is the rockfish are holding tight and if the rain/wind dies down we are going nail them the next few days.

58 degrees in Plymouth Ma. and no snow yet this year. The no snow until January isn't all that unusual (like last year!) so enjoying it for now. I've seen enough white Christmases in my lifetime, so not impressed anymore. I can't light the fireplace this year or I will drive everyone out of the house!

That's the guide I use out there. Can't wait until I get one like it. I'm new at fly fishing, I'll have to get lucky because I doubt I'll live long enough to really learn it all

Come on man, if the Orvis adorned, flyfishing metrosexuals can do it, you can do it. It will help if you are limp wristed and wear one of those floppy hats with hooks stuck all over it.

Match the hatch ..... rod at 10 and 2, back and forth, back and forth ..... let is sail .........walk the fly back to you in a jerky fashion. Rinse and repeat.

That is a nice brown!
