Default Lindsay Miller is member of Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

When hearing this report this morning I thought, unusual, but everything must be accepted (by some) now a days, I guess.
A quick search showed this is in no way a new thing.
Just Google, Flying Spaghetti Monster.

I have to thing that this is "tongue in cheek" and a purposeful demonstration of how we are with society now.

Between Mizzou and Yale (and countless other examples) I have to think our society already peaked and we are now devolving.

$5 says they're all left-handed Subaru drivers. I'm hoping none of the procreate. We have enough idiots running loose.

Their ideas are not that much more far fetched than a bearded man in the sky taking ribs out of dudes and making women....

Its more of a protest against religion in government than being stupid. For example if I can take a licence photo with a Burka on than you have to recognize my religion and let me take a licence photo with a pasta strainer on my head.

It all started years ago when Kansas decided that they would allow creationism to be tought in science class as a counter point to evolution. Read the wikipedia page to get some insight. Its not as stupid as some people think it is, they just don't understand that it is being done to point out the stupidity in other things.

I for one have a Flying Spaghetti Monster on the back of my truck.

Whoops. I ate your god for dinner last night. Umm, sorry about that. You can have him back later on this afternoon if you like.

I'll buy that.
Like I said here or other places, Anything goes in today's world and who is anyone to tell someone else what they think, believe or say, is not true?
Different Gods for different people.
Some believe the end justify the means no matter how violent.
The white woman said she was black.
Males say they are female.
Females say they are males.
...and the beat goes on.....

The "Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster" is nothing new.

I have no problem with it. If they are going to recognize any religious requests then this is fair game. Who is anyone to say one persons "religion" had to be recognized and another doesn't.

Bingo. We have been creating religion as long as we have been around.

Book Of Mormon was a blast last week.
