only reason people are still posting what they think is the worst is because no one has listed "tiptoes" with matthew mcconaughey -

For example, no one thought the Jackass movies were going to win any awards, but they knew they stood a good chance of $$ since costs were relatively low and there was a core audience out there who could pay.

In other cases there is no expectation of a big box office - the players involved all make money from the making of the movie, so "group think" pushed it forward and everyone involved collects their $$ from the actual production - kind of like a big commercial building that, once completed, sits empty. All the construction players make $$, but the thing should never have been built.
You just described every Troma movie.

So was the movie Gerry, with Matt Damon. You could fast forward for 20 minutes at a time and not miss a thing.

I’m am a fan of many of his movies, but certainly not that one!

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1846589/
Hunter Killer had holes in the plot you could drive a dump truck through.

If you saw a bad Adam Sandler movie that's on you for watching in the first place. What did you expect ?
