Default What's a Peyton Manning, Ryan Leaf autographed ESPN Magazine Worth?

Back in 1998 . . . I worked the NFL draft for ESPN (I was an intern).
The night before the NFL Draft I got Ryan Leaf and Peyton Manning to autograph
the 1998 ESPN - NFL draft issue (they were both on the cover 1st and 2nd draft picks).
I have the issue framed on my wall. Last night a coworker (sports nut) came over for dinner and saw the magazine . . . he seemed to think that issue is worth some $$$.

Just curious what the thing might be worth?

I just don't get how people feel their autograph is worth money?????? Crips if it wasn't for the viewer or spectator they wouldn't have a job.......and then they have the gull to ask for money for an autograph. I just don't get it.

But despite of my feelings, yah I'd agree you are sitting on a few bucks..........I'd wait until the guys reach the Hall of Fame before I sold it though.

Can you erase Ryan Leaf's name?

Garrett............I don't think Ryan Leaf will be making it to the "Hall of Fame", unless he's a paying visitor

but seriously..........I think it's worth something.......Garretts right, I would sit on it for a while

I collect sports cards

If I were to guess I would say somewhere in the 200-300 dollar range

Given Payton's performance in the last minute of the game I would say his signature is worth less. Absolutely terrible clock management cost them the game...even after the Bus put a win on a silver platter for the Colts. They should have had 2 extra plays if they hadn't let 20 seconds run off the clock at the beginning of the last possession......and maybe, just maybe, they would have been a heck of a lot closer to the uprights than 45 yards. He is still a class act.....not everybody can be Superman in every game.

Yeah, It was REAL CLASSY the way he threw his line under the bus after the game!
