Isn't this just, oh I don't know - a mile, too far?
What next? Are we really going to pick models on PC? Who are they marketing to? Wow, that dress looks good on chunky girls?? The world gets weirder every day.
I thought it was stupid when schools voted the king and queen as some PC group member. Whether downs or gay or gender confused... Really?

So, let me get this straight - you're complaining because she's not an anorexic twit with an attitude? Who cares? She's working with what she has. Good for her.

Geez, you guys call me mean? You hurt my widdle feelings. So clothes designers are supposed to hire models who make their clothes look glamorous. Sure, the models look like 13 yr old boys, but models FIT THE CLOTHES, not make people fart rainbows because they feel sorry for the model or believe the companies give a hoot about mentally challenged people. This is like the women marines who drop unit effectiveness. PC is crap. Mentally challenged models aren't convincing Paris Hilton and her ilk to buy your fashions. You know no teenaged girl (the meanest creatures on earth) aren't saying, "I want to look like her." You as re just buying into the feel good crap that PC always is.

Way to stand up for your god-given First Amendment Right to not be PC. You are one brave American hero not unlike George Washington. Keep fighting the good fight.

Well thats one way to look at it. The other is that an industry known for being vain and full of self centered egos put that aside to help make the dreams of a special little girl come true. Compared to most of the shit on here id say its post worthy.

Thank you.

People who have actual experience with Down's Syndrome children understand how lovable they can be. This is a nice story and shows that people in the fashion industry have hearts just like the rest of us.

Each and every human being on this planet should get the privilege of spending at least 1 day with a person who has Down syndrome. It WILL change that persons life.

I knew it wouldn't take to long. You complain about my posts, maybe you've gone a mile too far. May e walk a mile in her shoes before getting a full steam on. Sure I get where the company was going with this but why not give the girl a hand instead.

Exactly why do you care who they chose as a model?

What I do know is that model will brighten more peoples days than you ever will with such an attitude.
